Questions for Further Study
Getting to Know YOU
1. What Bible revelation in
your own Christian experience has most impacted your life? Is there a
foundational truth that helped you early in your Christian walk? What Bible
truth do you cling to now?
2. At some point you received
Jesus as your Lord and Savior? What does that mean? Has your life been changed?
If not, do you need to make a decision for Christ today?
3. How is your life better
now than it was when you first believed? Can you look back at the day of your
salvation experience and say, “My life has never been the same since”? How does that make you feel?
Passages
to Ponder
1. Read Acts 3:1-10. What was
the state of this man before he met Jesus through the witness of Peter and John?
What was his state afterward? Notice his new outlook on life… what was his
physical reaction to his healing? What parallels can you draw from this story
and spiritual healing (salvation)?
2. Read Luke 19:1-10. Note
the reaction of the sinner who receives Jesus. Note Jesus’ reaction. What does
this tell you about a new life in Jesus? From man’s view and God’s view?
Show Me the Way
1. How does shortsightedness hurt us in life?
2. What are some steps you might need to take to
truly live your life in a more biblical way? Loving life?
3. What was the one big
takeaway you got from this series of messages?
