Getting to Know YOU
1. How does the Biblical definition of confidence/ meekness compare to the way you view yourself in your interactions with others?


2. Many people struggle with negativity in their daily lives. What are some ways we can learn to have a heart that celebrates God’s goodness in our daily lives?


3. What is the importance of having close Christian bother/sister friends in prominence in our personal lives?


Passages to Ponder      
1. Read 2 Peter 1:19-21 and give insights that you gleaned from Peter’s writing on the Holy Scriptures.

2. Read Numbers 12:3 and discuss your initial reaction to this passage. Why do you suppose God said such a thing?


Show Me the Way
1.  Many people see the Father God as the mean guy and Jesus as the good guy (the whole good cop/ bad cop thing).  How is that misconception wrong and what could be done to change that perception?


2.  How do you discuss ideas, thoughts, words you believe you’ve heard from God?  What are some safety nets to keep you from abusing the “God told me” line?
