Getting to Know YOU
1. Has Jesus ever corrected your behavior or lack of
motivation in your walk with Him? How did you respond? What was the outcome?
2. Do you ever look at others and wonder why God seems to be
blessing them over you? What is wrong with that sort of thinking? How do we
overcome such feelings?
Passage to Ponder
1. Read 2 Peter 1. Take note of the divine nature God has
called you to. Ponder them. The Bible calls it meditating on the Word of God.
Write down any revelation you might receive from above:
Show Me the Way
1. Peter gave more than his life. His family was completely
dedicated to the Lord, as well. Consider the price he paid to follow Jesus.
Hopefully this would never be required of you. How do you see Peter in the
light of all that he gave? How might we learn from him in our walk with God?
2. List five things that you are hopelessly in love with
Jesus for. How often do you express these things to Him? Take time to praise
Him even now!
