CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE GOD KIND   RC Insert (Pastor Del)

Today I want to share with you four people in the bible who by their encounter with God. By their faith in what God told them and their actions their life was completely different. Our lives have a direct impact by their actions.

-Abraham

-Jacob

-Peter

-Paul

-Talk about the real person just like us.

1. When you encounter God others will notice.

-Abraham Gen. 17:1-8

-Jacob Gen. 32:22-32

-Peter Matt. 16:13-19

-Paul Acts 9:1-19

2. When you encounter God your destiny changes.

-Peter

-Paul

3. When you encounter God the destiny of others changes.

-From Abraham came Israel and Jesus and the church.

-From Jacob the 12 tribes of Israel.

-From Peter the foundation of the Church.

-Paul ¾ of the New Testament. Paul helped the Gospel get to Europe. This came to America.

We have to be a Church that seeks the Face of God! That is when we will see great things happen.

Getting to Know YOU

1. Have you ever had a Close Encounter with God moment?  If so can you share that moment?

2. Do you sometimes feel that you’re just not good enough to have a Close Encounter with God?

3. Realizing the people in the bible were just like you. Does that help you see that God wants to get in your life just like He did in theirs?
